We decided to offer our day of reception coordination as a way to service our couples that were looking for additional assistance on their wedding day as well as the planning process leading up to the day. You will already have one of our experienced wedding planners on site assisting you with your ceremony-this is included with most of our packages excluding the “Just us two”. If you choose to add-on a day of coordinator for your reception they will assist you with your reception or dinner plans, help decorate and set up any post ceremony celebrations, and basically be your boots on the ground in Vegas while you plan your wedding or elopement. They are here to be your advocate if you are not here in the city or are just simply too busy to worry about the details.
Our day of reception coordinator will assist you with your reception or dinner plans by recommending places that may be good for your group. There are a ton of options in the welcome packet Elopement Las Vegas will send to you but if you need more personalized recommendations for vendors or venues your reception coordinator can help you out with that. We have been wedding planning in Las Vegas over 10 years and have a lot of experience in the industry so we are very knowledgeable when it comes to pairing you with the right venues and vendors for your vision. You will ultimately be responsible for reaching out to the vendors and venues, getting pricing, and paying them. If you are very busy and looking for more help and would like your planner to be the one who reaches out on your behalf, that falls under the scope of a full service planner, not day of coordination. This service starts at $6,000. If you are okay with reaching out to your own vendors and booking a ceremony package with us you will likely not need a full service planner.
Your day of coordinator can help decorate and set up any post ceremony celebrations, and basically be your boots on the ground in Vegas while you plan your wedding or elopement and be your advocate if you are not here in the city or are just simply too busy to worry about the details. A lot of time our couples like to purchase items for their dinner or reception and have us set them up on the reception tables etc. As long as things are assembled and do not require a ladder or heavy lifting we are happy to set all this up on your behalf. Common items are candles, place settings, favors, linens, cake toppers, assembled flower arrangements, and much more. We often have couples ship items to their coordinator that they cannot travel with on the plane and pick it up from them when they land in Vegas.
You will have communication with your coordinator immediately after booking so that you can bounce any ideas off of them and ask questions along the way. The way we see it is we would rather you come to us with questions and send us contracts to review so we can help catch any potential issues now, rather than 30 days prior to your wedding day. Once all of your vendors are hired your coordinator will take over to reach out to them to coordinate deliveries and set up as well as any details to make sure the reception portion of your day is perfect. They will also be on site throughout the reception or dinner to help with any issues that may arise and organize any formalities ( cake cutting, speeches, dances, etc. ) We do not have a minimum or maximum number of hours we will be on site as we want to ensure our couples are taken care of!
If you are a bride or groom who is having a post ceremony celebration that requires any set up you will likely benefit from a reception coordinator. There is usually little time between the ceremony and reception and you will want someone on site at the reception helping set up and ensure vendors are following contracts when dropping off items so that everything is ready when your guests arrive. This way close family and friends can enjoy the wedding day instead of having to rush the reception or dinner site to scramble to set things up for you. If you are looking for more than just a simple dinner with your guests a reception day of coordinator may be a good idea.
If you are looking for a full service wedding planner or day of coordinator and you are not planning an elopement with us please contact our sister company The Vegas Planners (please link https://thevegasplanners.com/ ) by emailing them info@thevegasplanners.com

The amount of guests that are allowed vary from location to location. The maximum guests we can accommodate at any of our locations is 50. After 50 guests we no longer consider it an intimate ceremony/ elopement. Please keep in mind that a higher guest count will increase the price of our elopement packages. If you need help planning a larger wedding please contact emily@weddingsandeventsbyemily.com
One of the best things about our all-inclusive packages is that almost everything is taken care of! We will send you a welcome packet that will have vendor referrals for any other services you may need that are not included in our package. There will be instructions on where to go to get your marriage license before the ceremony. We will also help you with recommendations on where to host your post-ceremony dinner or small reception. We will send you a detailed timeline for the ceremony portion of they day so you know when to tell transportation companies to pick you up and drop you off as well as directions for you and any guests.
YES! Unlike a lot of other companies in town we do not just give you 10 photos from the wedding. We only work with professional experienced wedding photographers. You will get access to an online gallery with ALL of the photos from your elopement. The photos are professionally edited and you have the right to print, share, and download all of them as you please. We can give you recommendations on places to get albums made as well. Your photographer will share sneak peeks with you within a few days following the ceremony to share the news with friends and family and the rest of the gallery will be delivered to you 3-4 weeks after the ceremony.
We only allow outside photographers under special circumstances. All of our photographers are familiar and have a lot of experience at the locations we offer. Since they know the areas so well they are able to take our couples around and get the best shots at different locations vs someone that does not know the area and is coming there for the first time. There are also rules and regulations we must abide by and required by the bureau of land management in the areas we photograph and perform ceremonies.
Yes! In your welcome packet there will be several recommendations for suit and tuxedo rentals. Dress rentals are not as common because you will need to be here for fittings so we recommend purchasing something beforehand.
This is a fairly easy process, we will send you instructions on how to obtain a marriage license in your welcome packet.
Spring and Fall are the busiest times of year to get married in Las Vegas because the weather is so nice! These dates are more in demand and book up quickly. We have many couples who choose to elope in Winter and Summer because it is not as busy. In the Winter our brides usually opt for a cute jacket or cover up to keep warm. July and August are pretty hot so please advise any guests when booking an outdoor ceremony.
One of our photographers will be assigned to you after booking based on date and availability!
We believe that your bridal bouquet should be uniquely YOU! Unlike most companies that only let you choose between one or two different kinds of bouquets or only offer a 12 rose bouquet we want your bouquet to be a reflection of your unique style. After booking we will ask you for a few photos of bouquets that you like for inspiration and our florist will create a custom bouquet for you with your favorite flowers and colors!
Transportation is not included in our packages. We have found that our couples all have very different transportation needs so we will recommend companies to you specifically for your needs. We can refer you to companies that offer shuttle service, limos, specialty cars, party busses and more! Want to Uber or drive yourself? Great! You can do that as well! We will be sure to send you specific instructions to give the driver to all of our elopement locations and give you pick up and drop off times as well.
Chairs are only offered at specific locations, please inquire directly for more information. Chairs are not included in our packages and are additional. Since the ceremonies are short and simple most of our couples opt to save on chairs and have their guests stand, we promise they don't mind!
One of the best things about the majority of our elopement locations is that nature is the ultimate backdrop! Altar and aisle decor is not included in our packages and most couples opt to keep things simple. Of course, if you want to do anything extra we are willing to send you a quote after booking. Altar decor options vary from site to site.
You are welcome to write and share your own vows or you can exchange traditional vows during your wedding ceremony. You will also have the choice to choose between a religious or nonreligious Ceremony. We are happy to accommodate any unique ceremony ideas or needs.
In Clark County any family members or friends must be ordained through the county to legally perform a wedding ceremony. This can be a lengthy process and difficult to accomplish in a short period of time. A "paperwork only" service is a suitable option that our officiants can do when having a non-licensed family member perform your Las Vegas wedding ceremony, or as a convenient alternative to visiting the Las Vegas Justice of the Peace. Rush filing of your Las Vegas marriage certificate is available for a fee.
Since most of our elopement locations are outdoors we have a rain or shine policy. Luckily in Las Vegas we don't get much rain and if we do it is during monsoon season in the Summer. Under the rare instances where rain is in the forecast, we require our couples to make a decision two days before the wedding on whether or not they want to move locations. Most alternate locations will incur additional charges. We keep large clear umbrellas on hand in case there is light rain, it makes for great photos! We try to be flexible with timing on rainy days and will often "wait out" the rain until the storm passes so we can still do the outdoor ceremony.
Our elopement ceremonies are usually between 10-15 minutes long. If you choose to share your own vows, incorporate any special prayers etc it may be longer.
We only have a brochure with the locations we offer. All of our pricing is custom and is based on location site fees, guest count, and date.
We encourage you to explore our website blog as well as follow us on social media @elopementlasvegas
