Rare photoshoot on Las Vegas Strip | Elopement Las Vegas

July 17, 2020

COVID-19 wasn’t going to stop Michael and Victoria’s ceremony from happening. They took a road trip across the country to make it to our beautiful desert. After their ceremony, they had the rare opportunity to take photos during the Strip shutdown. All the casinos were closed so the normal busy and crowded photo areas were completely empty. They took full advantage and got some great shots!

THE PROPOSAL

Michael proposed a little after the year we met, summer of 2017. We bought a metal detector and a couple days later our cat went missing for almost a week and I was just heart broken. Michael buried my ring on our property next to our house. He kept trying to get me to use the metal detector and I was more concerned about finding the cat. Panicked he finally got me outside to dig up the ring. LOL.

THE VISION

I think the plan was always to elope. It’s just so much easier and way less expensive. For me it was always about having beautiful photos you can look back on. It was just about finding the perfect location at a reasonable price. Elopement Las Vegas made that happen!!!

THE PLANNING PROCESS

Once we decided to proceed with Elopement Las Vegas, there was really no planning, they handled it all. Besides picking out our flowers and what kind of cake we would like, all we had to do was show up in the wedding dress and tuxedo!!

YOUR OUTFITS AND ACCESSORIES

My dress I found at David’s Bridal, and the tuxedo we rented locally at Tux One in Summerlin, who I highly recommend since Men’s Warehouse had the groom in a tuxedo for a 220 pound man. Tux One fixed him up right on the spot and had him looking slim and dapper.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

Samantha reapplying my makeup before I headed down the aisle and saying “Now take it all in, cause it goes by really fast”. Our photographer Ashlyn who took the most beautiful photos of us and had us laughing the entire extra hour on the Las Vegas Strip, which was a ghost town due to Covid-19.
