Drew and Danielle’s wedding was simply one-of-a-kind. This thrill-seeking couple met while traveling and now spend their life exploring new places together. Of course this scenic and free-spirited wedding at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas, NV was wandering wedding goals from start to finish! Desert Elopement Las Vegas helped bring the couple’s wedding to life with simplistic details that included a wild and loose, jewel-toned bouquet by Layers of Lovely, a naked cake for two adorned with succulents, a boho picnic, as well as a wooden “we do, we did, we eloped” sign that was perfect for sharing the news to loved ones that could not make the wedding ceremony. The bride brought her own special details, two large rugs and lanterns for the ceremony backdrop, and a custom painted vegan leather jacket by Black salt and Painted. At their intimate rooftop reception the guests were treated to a taco truck ( the bride’s favorite), dancing and a drum circle. I could not be more happy for this couple, I have never seen two people so excited to be married to one another. After the ceremony Danielle and Drew skipped down the aisle with excitement, I can only hope they keep this excitement through all of their next adventures together.
From the Bride: On this day, our wedding day my cheeks hurt from smiling so much…just like the day of our first date in Kathmandu at the zoo three years ago. I knew the moment I met Drew that I would walk through life with him. Every girl has had a thought, a dream of what their day might be like and what their husband might be like but I couldn’t imagine ever being this happy and in love. Our day was beyond perfect and the greatest representation of who we are as people and as a couple. We all laughed, cried ( Drew a lot) in the beautiful Red Rock Canyon National Park amongst family and friends that we view as family too. Not everyone could make it but they were with us in spirit. Before our ceremony Drew and I did a first look, just the two of us with no one else around. He looked so handsome! At our reception we had a taco stand set up and we ate while the sun set over the mountains. We cut our cake with a knife made in Sheffield and threw cake in each others faces. There were beautiful speeches and dances for our parents to give us away to one another. To top the day off we had a drum circle which everyone got involved in! Our friends and family were dancing together and played the drums, it was one of the most social moments amongst many to take away with us. As I write this we are back in one of our favorite spots in Kathmandu. Once as a girlfriend, once as a fiance’ and now as a wife!
