THE BRIDE’S VISION: Something intimate appealed to us; simple, but elegant.
BRIDE’S OUTFITS AND ACCESSORIES: When searching for a dress, I kept saying I was looking for a dress that “fit the scenery.” I still am unsure if that made sense to anyone else, but in my mind I knew that I wanted something simple that wouldn’t distract from the beautiful setting while still make me feel like a princess. Neither of us were looking for extravagant. I’m honestly not sure if Austin even knows how to tie a tie. We covered the basics and knew the scenery would make up for the rest.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS: 1. Being handed the bouquet of my dreams. 2. Hiking up the mountain in a wedding dress, looking around in awe of what was in front of me. 3. Austin popping a bottle of champagne for the first time, then drinking about 3/4’s of it and becoming a comedian. 4. Saying “I do” in the middle of what felt like heaven.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES:
Your wedding shouldn’t be stressful. And at the end of the day, your wedding is about the two of you becoming one. It’s not about what your friends or family expect, or following tradition, or spending your life savings. Make sure your wedding is about the two of you and what you really want.
