Megan and Keagan had the opportunity to have their elopement at The Doyle in Las Vegas, NV. It was filled with their closest friends and family, and a few alpaca wedding crashers.

THE PROPOSAL

So definitely not discrete but super sweet. My husband is active military and the weekend he proposed we were moving him across the country (from Kansas City to upstate New York). We went to a football game in Buffalo then after went out for drinks. I knew he was being weird and then he proposed. Definitely worth it. 

THE VISION

Simple and intimate but still picturesque and memorable. We wanted to be outdoors, but the weather had other plans. Honestly what we ended up with was better than we could have ever imagined (and definitely us). 

THE PLANNING PROCESS

There was a lot of trust in this process haha. We wanted hands off, but me being ridiculous, I still wanted some input. It ended up being pretty easy and low key. 

YOUR OUTFITS AND ACCESSORIES

Keagan’s suit was from Brooks Brothers. He wanted the color navy, and it was a good call. He’s so handsome. He wanted casual yet sophisticated and put together.

My wedding dress was from BHLDN. I love how simple and classic it was, and honestly not over the top. 

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

Showing up to our wedding venue and there were freakin’ alpacas. HOW COOL IS THAT. Also the venue was gorgeous (we’d never seen it!) I distinctly remember almost crying when I met my parents. First time I’d had them in the same room together in 20 years. They were unphased but I was a mess. What a special moment. I married the love of my life and had my two biggest fans right there beside me.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES

Elope. You get all the same beautiful photos but honestly the whole thing is a gazillion times easier and much cheaper.
