Mansion 54 is known for being a popular party venue for the likes of the cities most popular stars including Cher, Elton John, and Diana Ross. Sharing their vows in a romantic candle light setting with only their closet friends and family, Amanda and Caleb decided to make their love official at this fun, Vegas-chic gem that is settled off the Las Vegas strip.
Fun, Classy, Elegant, and Personal. It was tailored to us as a couple perfectly.
Caleb had planned to recreate the night we met. Which included dinner at the place we met and a photo booth. I completely ruined it! After dinner I just wanted to go home and spoiled the whole thing.
He salvaged what he could of the night and proposed on a bridge near our house. I felt so bad when I found out what he planned!
We laugh about it now. It kinda describes us as a couple. We have the best intentions but nothing goes to plan!
I always envisioned a a fall wedding with dark colors. Our original date was Halloween, so a lot of black and candles! Then COVID hit. After realizing that we couldn’t make it happen where we live, we hired Emily and her team and completely changed everything!
Once we decided to make the wedding smaller and out of state, we very quickly hired Emily so we didn’t change our minds again! The planning was so easy. We picked a location, send the invites, and it all kinda fell into place from there.
Emily and her team asked my input along the way, but I had planned this wedding so many times I was burnt out. I felt like she knows better than I do, and I have never been more right! She chose my flowers and all the decor. My gut told my I had to let go and it was the best decision.
When we received word 2 days before our wedding that is was suppose to rain on our outdoor ceremony, thing got real! I had a minor panic attack, but Emily and Martha had it handled. We had a new location within 30 mins and the most reassuring phone call from Martha within the hour. Everything was worked out. What would normally be a disaster for a bride, turned out to be something we were so thankful for. We loved our new location more than we could have thought and the decor was BEAUTIFUL.
My dress was from David’s Bridal. It was the second dress I purchased when we changed our plans. I wanted long sleeves and detail. Something fitted and comfortable. I think it fit our location perfectly. I have always wanted a longer veil and I am very happy I went with one.
My favorite accessory was my Grandfather’s tie that Emily wrapped around my bouquet. He passed away in 2010 so to have a little piece of him there was special.
I also wore my stepmother’s pearl earrings. She wore them when she married my dad 23 years ago! I feel like they are good luck.
Caleb got his suit from Men’s Warehouse. He loves a good fitted suit and Men’s Warehouse is his go to. He is a super simple and didn’t think much about it. The all black look was easy and perfect.
Amanda-The first look with my parents was so special. I didn’t think to ask for it but Emily and Martha made that happen. It’s something I will never forget.
Caleb loved the donuts! We decided on donuts instead of a cake. He still brings up how good the donuts where at least once a day!
Our biggest take away from our wedding is to put full trust in the professionals. We had an idea in our minds of how our wedding was going to be, but that didn’t happen. Between COVID and weather, thing changed sometimes daily!
Take a deep breath and trust that Emily has your back.
We both genuinely feel that our wedding was better than what we had imagined. Emily and her team listen to everything we said and made it 10 times better. More than anything, they want your day to be perfect and they will make it happen.
