There is something so utterly romantic about a snow white elopement. Although Kllye and Seth were not expecting to have such a snowy adventure on their wedding day, it turned out to be one of the most magical days. The bride had no intentions of traveling in freezing temperatures to say I do to her Prince Charming, the thought of being at the altar and finally being the future Mrs. brought much joy and warmth to her heart. Take a look at what can best be described as an enchanted elopement.
OMG! I was worried for a few weeks once I saw what the weather was supposed to be. I was worried it would snow and be too cold to have a wedding and thinking that we might need to change locations. Martha called morning of the wedding and told me how beautiful it was, so we took the chance and decided to keep the wedding outside as planned. I am SOOOO thankful we did. The wedding was amazing!!!! Martha and her team were fantastic! All five of them made our day even that more special. I did not have to worry about anything. They went above and beyond to make sure our guest were comfortable as well as myself and Seth. In between pictures everyone made sure I was staying warm and ready to move on to the next picture. The photographer was amazing! videographer was amazing!! Our officiant knocked it out of the park, didn’t faze her she was getting hammered by snow. I honestly could not have asked for anything better! Nor would I have changed a single thing. The whole experience was amazing! Pictures speak a thousand words with how happy we were! It was just AMAZING!!!!
Seth had been working a lot of hours at the dealership, a job he took when he was laid off from Covid. He had accepted another job and was set to give his notice. The dealership did not let him work after he gave the notice. So that day Seth went and picked out a ring (I wasn’t aware), that next day we had the day off together and we were cooking lunch and when I turned from the stove, he was on his knee asking me to marry him! It was perfect! We had spent so much time apart with the hours he worked and just to be home with him on a Saturday was a treat, let alone to get engaged!
We wanted something that would be intimate but still have the beautiful effects of a big wedding. I wanted the pictures, the flowers, the cake, the toast, the dance, the dress. I also wanted very little to do with the planning.
Honestly it was so easy! I reached out Emily and her team. Told her the date we wanted and the location we liked. From there they took care of everything. I only had to worry about our outfits and hair and makeup.
I went with a maroon dress from David’s Bridal. I kept looking at white dresses on Pinterest and every once in a while, a colored dress would pop up and I knew I wanted something with color and something fun. Seth went with a navy-blue suit from Kohl’s.
We both had navy blue chucks along with our 3 kiddos. So, all 5 of us wore the same shoes. (So thankful I had shoes on and not heels or sandals I would of lost my toes lol)
First look, we weren’t planning on one but the opportunity presented itself and we took it. So thankful we did. It was so nice to have that moment. The SNOW, just magical! Cutting the cake and both of our hands being so cold but we worked together and got it cut with some laughs along the way. The Champagne spray, Seth had a lot of fun!
Let Emily and her team work her magic! They are AMAZING and you will not regret it!!! We loved our team so much we even took a selfie with them!
