Mountain elopements are an adventurous wedding trend which makes a unique experience. Peri and Nathaniel eloped in Mount Charleston, Nevada where they celebrated the ‘I Do’s’ in front of their closet friends and family. As their post celebration, the two traded in their traditional wedding styles for sexy glam outfits for their Downtown Las Vegas photo ops.
Dream-like, stress free, magical
Nathaniel and I fell in love with eachother one night while we stargazed, so he proposed to me under the stars with all our friends and family hiding in bushes, on roofs, in truck beds, etc. 🙂 Afterwards we had a big family dinner with our favorite meal and it was so us and so perfect.
My vision was timeless and romantic, along with fun vegas vibes. I wanted the feel of a traditional wedding with a beautiful gown and ceremony, but also the feel of a fun vegas elopement. I had a dress change after the ceremony and headed to downtown las vegas to capture the fun vibe. Our photographer nailed it.
The planning process was so easy and went so smoothly! Everyone I talk to about it is amazed that such a beautiful wedding could take little to no effort on my part. I was sent a questionnaire and some options and it was that easy. All of my wants and requests were met 110%. All of my questions were answered promptly as well.Â
Does it get any hotter than this? If you are thinking about having a second dress for your post ceremony, the answer is JUST DO IT. Peri switched up her look and explored downtown Las Vegas after their ceremony for some glamour shots.
Ceremony:
Wedding dress – Pronovias Ermin
Shoes- Betsey Johnson Mari Block
Downtown Las Vegas:
White heart sunglasses: Amazon
Miss to Mrs Las Vegas purse: Amazon
Dress: Jovani 07591 – I ended up being able to buy it online from Noras Bridal Boutique.
With my traditional wedding dress, I wanted something more “vegas-y” and this was perfect. It has a sparkly top with an amazing feather bottom.
Shoes: same as ceremony, but I did change for the reception and wore Betsey Johnson Suton Highwall platform sneakers. They were perfect for comfort and literally the sneaker version of my wedding shoes.
This wasn’t asked but I’m obsessed with mine and still wear it – for getting ready I recommend the lace bridal robe from PoppylovePetal’s etsy site. I got my sash personalized with my new last name and it was such a special touch.
In all the excitement I totally forgot to pass off my cake topper to a family member or wedding planner. When it was time for the cake cutting I quietly said to my husband “oh, the cake topper” but the wedding planner heard and it was go time! I assured her it was okay (inside i was so upset with myself) but she knew it was a must so she RAN to the party bus, found the cake topper amongst all of my guest’s items, and RAN back. The dedication was unreal!! I am so grateful for her and her mad dash. 🙂
Gayane’s words were so beautiful and it felt like she knew Nathaniel and I our whole relationship. She sent us a text a few days beforehand asking us a few questions, but I never would have thought that her words would be so accurate and touching having never met us prior. LOVED HER!
TAKE IT ALL IN!! You’re going to hear that a million times but believe me, it will be over in a flash. One of the wedding planners, Martha, had a pep talk with me before walking down the aisle and told me to soak it all in because it goes by quickly. I didn’t realize just how quickly until it was all over! I wish I would have taken more moments to pause and soak it all in. Also just breathe. The wedding planners are amazing and if something goes wrong, you will never know!Â
