Amidst the golden hues of autumn, a boho-inspired elopement unfolds in the enchanting Desert Love Land of Las Vegas. The couple, adorned in free-spirited bohemian attire, exchange vows surrounded by the warm desert breeze. An intimate ceremony beneath the vast desert sky is followed by a whimsical celebration that include vibrant fall florals, and a mini reception filled with delectable seasonal treats. As the sun sets over the desert landscape, the Erika and David revel in the magic of their boho fall love story, creating memories that echo the natural beauty of their surroundings.
There are no words to describe our day! It was flawless!! If I had to pick a few words I would say: STUNNING, breathtaking, EASY, emotional, BEST DAY EVER!
I was thrown a surprise birthday party filled with all my friends and family and towards the end of the night, my then boyfriend, told me I should give a speech to thank everyone for coming, knowing I did NOT like talking in public, so I told him I’d say thank you but he’d have to take over so I started out by thanking everyone and he took over and ended this speech down on a knee asking me to marry him!! I was 100% caught off guard! He only told 1 person, my best friend, that he was doing this since it was at her house and she had the ring! Everyone was in complete shock! The best part is they had a photographer there who captured the entire thing and we also have it on video!
My vision was desert boho with lots of flowers filled with blush pinks, maroon, greens. I wanted a fall boho vibe, which was knocked out of the park!!
The planning process was so easy and stress-free! I emailed photos of my vision and the communication through the entire process was so amazing! I had a ton of questions since we were coming from Florida and the ELV Team always answered so timely and had me feeling so at ease leading up to the day!
I actually bought my wedding dress at an online boutique called Bella and Bloom. I changed after the ceremony into a fun party dress that was a shorter but still had a fun bow/train which was also fun Bella and Bloom. And the night before I wore a fun jumpsuit that reminded me of Elvis and also from Bella and Bloom! My earrings and necklace were from Lulus. And my shoes were from DSW.
SO many memorable moments! My first memorable moment was meeting Martha for the first time and her being SO amazing! She told me to stop, breath, soak it all in and not worry about a thing! She told me to just look at my now husband and just live in that moment. It helped me so much throughout the ceremony! Another amazing moment was our first dance. We almost eliminated this but so glad we didn’t. It was the first time we actually just got to hug and talk one on one. It was like no one else was there. Also, having a champagne toast with all 40 of our friends and family in the desert of Las Vegas will forever be a core memory!
Enjoy the entire day and don’t STRESS! The ELV Team has everything covered plus more than you think! Just really soak in the moments, soak in each other, and have the best time! The day goes so fast! Also, if you have a group of people joining you, I highly recommend renting a party bus! We had our guests arrive via the party bus so no one had to stress transportation and then we jumped on the bus with everyone afterwards and had the BEST time! It was like a mini reception party on the way to dinner!
