One of the best parts about planning an elopement or micro wedding is the photo opportunities. There’s more room (and time) to be creative with your wedding portraits! Rather than focusing on getting a bunch of posed photos, family groupings and shots of guests, your photographer will be able to go through the day in a more natural way to capture all of the little moments that you want to remember.

With that being said, this is also your chance to showcase your individual style and personalities through your wedding portraits. If posed photos aren’t what you’re looking for, be sure to communicate that to your photographer ahead of time! Don’t be surprised if they ask you to answer some questions about your style or to send over some sort of mood board for them to take a look at.
